Capsule Geology

The area is underlain by the Devonian or older part of the Eagle Bay metasediments and metavolcanics. The Cretaceous Baldy Batholith lies to the north.

Three quartz veins, carrying galena, occur over a 24 metre width within schist. A grab sample assayed 23 per cent lead, 357 grams per tonne silver, and trace gold.
